Really loved the store and watched them persevere through the pandemic and two long construction projects that were devastating for their business.. with roads clear and social gathering a clear joy again, I am so happy to see the reopening with both new and familiar races. Headed down there again right now for some big eggs, produce, maple syrup and maybe some more local tortilla chip, beef jerky and stuffed poblanos

We've been buying meat from Cam for a long time so we were really happy to see him open up a store! We love going here for meat and produce but he also has snacks, candy and cheese! I highly recommend Piedmont!

Randomly driving by this cute little place and decided to stop. I'm so glad we did! I found some super cute earrings for gifts. We also grabbed some cold drinks for the rest of the car ride. I noticed several baskets full of fantastic looking fresh produce. Would have grabbed some potatoes and tomatoes, but we had just picked up some the day before. I snapped a few photos to share how much variety they have.

Stopped by to grab some eggs for the egg deal they were running, picked up a muscadine slushie which was amazing and few other treats. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great service.

Jumbo Eggs ,Jams and Jellies,pickled eggs and other veggies.Produce,fridge with sausages,key lime pies ,fruits etc. Other items like earings and bracelets - easy and cute buy.Not too expensive,but worth it

Piedmont Market General Store — NC-218 & 200 Intersection Stopped here driving from Concord to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach and this place is the definition of old-fashioned hospitality. Spotlessly clean store and the staff and owners are genuinely friendly and helpful. Fresh local produce out front — I saw baskets of strawberries and other NC farm products. Inside they carry Simpson’s Super Jumbo Eggs, local cheesecakes, bacon-wrapped BBQ meatloaf, pig shots, chicken pies, NC ciders, Blenheim Ginger Ale, and Old School brand snacks. I grabbed a KK’s Coffee Club Malibu Sunset from their cooler. Cold, refreshing, and exactly what I needed for the drive. Located right at the 218/200 crossroads near Crossroads Diner. If you’re taking NC-218 from Concord toward US-74 and the coast, don’t pass this place up. I’m from California and I’ll be back to stock up before I fly home.
